WHEN & WHERE IS THIS?

Our second Pub Night event is CURLING, and will take place on Saturday April 4th at the Chinguacousy Curling Club, located in Chinguacousy Park (Bramalea Rd. & Queen St.).

**NEW REVISED ** Registration / Arrival is 10am. First rock is thrown at 11-am sharp, and we need time to arrange teams, so please don't be late.

I'M NOT IN PUB LEAGUE. CAN I COME?

Absolutely. This event is OPEN TO EVERYONE. It includes dinner and prizes at the end of the day, so come on out. If it happens you are an ongoing Pub League member, we will record your points as usual (scoring system TBD). There will be no other events other than curling.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Loose, flexible clothes are recommended (jeans aren't always the best idea). You need CLEAN running shoes that have not been outside. If you don't have proper curling stuff, bring some DUCT TAPE to put on your shoe. We'll try to have some available, but bringing your own doesn't hurt. Other than that, a sweatshirt or light jacket is advised.

WHAT IF I HAVEN'T CURLED BEFORE?

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. We will ensure you are on a team with experienced curlers who can guide you. It's easy to get the hang of, and your teammates will help you out.

IS THERE FOOD AND DRINK?

The bar will be open 11:30am to 6pm. Dinner is included in your ticket price and is served at 4pm with awards afterwards. The snack bar has light stuff throughout the day.

IF I SHOW UP, AM I HELPING MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?

Absolutely. This event is held in memory of Shawn's mom Beverley, who loved children and introduced us to the wonderful charity Sleeping Children Around The World. The MacKinnon Challenge Cup raises money for that charity, in memory of her and the loved ones we've all lost to cancer, including Tara's dad George.

THIS SOUNDS AWESOME. HOW MUCH IS IT & HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

The cost is $40 per person, or $160 for a team of 4. This includes your curling for the day (11am until 4pm) and a dinner buffet afterwards. There is a cash bar all day, 11:30 am til 6pm.
